About Irina
Irina S. Batrakova represents individuals and their families in the areas of immigration, estate planning and business law. Her comprehensive background in these areas enables her to provide valuable advice to her clients in planning for their future and in securing their present.
Irina is a native of Russia, who in 1994 was selected to participate in the Future Leaders Exchange (Flex) Program, sponsored by the United States Department of State as part of the Freedom Support Act (FSA) of 1992. She was one of 1,200 talented and motivated students who spent the 1994 academic year in the United States with a goal to enhance an understanding and dialogue between the people of the United States and Russia.
Irina graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science degree from Portland State University in 2000. While at Portland State University, Irina was granted an International Cultural Service Program (ICSP) Scholarship. ICSP was highly involved in community service programs. As part of her community service work with ICSP, Irina delivered presentations to various groups and organizations throughout Portland metro area, to spread awareness and appreciation of Russian culture.
Irina subsequently earned her Juris Doctorate degree from Lewis and Clark Law School in 2004. She is licensed to practice law in the state of Oregon.
Irina is committed to giving back to her community. To that end, she is involved with such organizations as Russian Chamber of Commerce and American Immigration Lawyers Association.
